A couple days back I was listening to an OurLadyPeace song which came off the c.d. titled "Spiritual Machines". It was a song you may sometimes hear with a narritive intro. First a man talks then the song begins. In this beginning segment the voice said if we existed without death we would lose value in our lives, we would forget to be grateful. It wasn't a song that was intended for God (or at least I don't think so. but I began to think of it in a spiritual way). Without death I would be stuck here forever with nothing to look forward to. I thought of this in almost a claustrophobic mind set, stuck here with pain and suffering. There is only so much a persons mind can handle before insanity begins to take over.
